Pillar Program - Gold / Silver

Donate generously towards the permanent temple building fund. With the tax advantages, your cost will be relatively small. All the donors who pledge $2000/year and above (Gold Pillars) or $1000/year and above (Silver Pillars) for at least 5 years will be designated as pillars of the temple. A permanent name plate will be placed in the temple as part of this recognition. For additional privileges of Gold and Silver Pillars, please see the by-laws of VCSCSD.

Personalized Memorial Brick

It is a fund raising program for rebuilding the permanent home of Shiva Vishnu Temple of San Diego. We are ordering a limited number of engraved bricks to be laid in the walkway around the main building.


Please purchase a personalized engraved brick for $251. You will be helping build VCSCSD and SVT brick by brick! The proceeds from the sale of each brick goes towards the construction of the Center and the Temple.

 

Special Events

You can donate for the special events organized at the Temple by choosing the appropriate choice from the drop down button  and then clicking the Donate button. You can choose to check out as guest if you do not have a paypal account. Please remember to bring one of the following to the temple while attending the event:

  • Print out of the paypal transfer confirmation

  • Paypal confirmation email on your phone

  • Paypal transaction ID from the confirmation email

Matching Grant

Thank you for your support of Vedic Cultural and Spiritual Center of San Diego. As you know, we are able to manage our operations based on memberships, donations and matching grants. With the planned build out of our center, we need your financial support more than ever. Many corporations such as Qualcomm provides matching grant. We request you to apply for this grant.

Listed below are the some of the frequently asked questions with regard to matching grant program to support Vedic Cultural and Spiritual Center of San Diego.

What is the matching Grant?

Many corporations support non-profit organizations such as Vedic Cultural and Spiritual Center of San Diego. These corporations match your contributions (annual basis, or whenever you make a contribution). Some may have a limit of money (eg: $50 and above). When you make contributions such as building contributions, pillar contribution, fund raising contributions, these are allowed for matching grants. You can apply to get the same amount for our center.

How does this work?

When you make a contribution, please go to your company's Human Resources and ask for matching contribution details. Typically, they may ask you to fill out a form. In that, the following information may be required including amount for which the matching grant is applied.
